[Saba Sports News] Red Bull is facing two challenges: avoiding the possibility of its key driver Max Verstappen being banned due to accumulating penalty points in the Austrian Grand Prix, and trying to close the large gap in the standings with McLaren. However, team principal Christian Horner admitted that the latter could be extremely difficult, especially in the hot weather expected to exceed 30 degrees Celsius, which would better suit McLaren’s car performance. The high temperatures may further enhance McLaren’s tire advantage. Additionally, Horner pointed out that although the Red Bull Ring is Red Bull’s home track, it has several medium-speed corners in the middle, which are not favorable for the RB21’s setup. In the constructor standings, Red Bull is in fourth place with 162 points, 155 of which come from Verstappen alone. The entire team is 212 points behind the leading McLaren. In the first ten races of the season, McLaren has won six times, with Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris performing very consistently, while Red Bull has gradually lost its lead.
