[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, after Atletico Madrid completed their training session at the Emirates Stadium, they reported that the showers in the dressing room could not provide hot water. The issue remained unresolved even over an hour after it was reported. After arriving in London on Monday local time, Atletico Madrid conducted their pre-match training at the Emirates Stadium that evening. The weather was overcast, rainy, and cold. The Atletico Madrid players planned to take hot showers in the Emirates dressing room after training but found the showers lacked hot water. They ultimately had to return to their hotel to shower, which was a 45-minute drive away. Furthermore, Atletico Madrid identified the hot water system issue upon arriving at the Emirates Stadium at 5:30 PM and immediately reported it to Arsenal officials. However, the problem remained unsolved by the time training ended, more than an hour later. The Atletico Madrid players discussed the matter continuously on their way back to the hotel. They expressed surprise and anger, unable to comprehend how such an issue could occur at a top-tier venue like the Emirates Stadium during a premier competition like the Champions League, especially given that Arsenal spent over €300 million in the summer transfer window, yet failed to manage basic logistical support.
