Rivaldy’s wife, Vania, also has a notable background as a former Indonesian badminton player; the two were partners on the court before developing their relationship further. Rivaldy is a strong player specializing in mixed doubles in Indonesian badminton, with key achievements concentrated in youth and adult tournaments.
In his youth, he partnered with Muntari to win the mixed doubles championship at the World Youth Badminton Championships and earned a bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the Asian Youth Championships, also securing a bronze in men’s doubles at the World Youth Championships, showcasing his potential in both events.
As an adult, he collaborated closely with Muntari in mixed doubles, winning multiple BWF Tour championships and even reaching the BWF Year-End Finals, achieving a high world ranking. At the Southeast Asian Games, he earned bronze medals in mixed doubles twice, proving his competitiveness in regional events.
