[Saba Sports News] Ja Morant is making a significant change heading into a pivotal offseason.
According to Damichael Cole of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, the Memphis Grizzlies star has parted ways with LIFT Sports Management after about a year with the agency. Morant had joined LIFT in 2024 after previously being represented by longtime agent Jim Tanner.
LIFT Sports Management is led by former NBA sharpshooter and ex-Grizzlies player Mike Miller, who was frequently seen courtside at Grizzlies games this past season, often sitting with Morant’s father, Tee.
The move comes as Morant enters an important offseason. He remains under contract with Memphis for the next three years, with roughly $126.5 million owed, but he’s also eligible for a two-year contract extension this summer.
