[Saba Sports News] Jamal Crawford looked more like a fortune teller on Friday night.
During TNT’s alternate broadcast of Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks, Crawford predicted that Luka Doncic would hit a step-back three to win the game.
“It’s gonna be in Luka’s hands, and he’s gonna hit a stepback,” Crawford said, eyes closed as if seeing the future. “I think he makes it, and he’s gonna hop on one leg after.”
Amazingly, Crawford’s prediction came true, even down to Doncic’s post-shot hop. Here is the remarkable video.
Crawford also noted before the inbounds that Minnesota center Rudy Gobert would be involved, which proved accurate as well.
The three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year has been with TNT since 2022, recently moving from the studio show to the main broadcast team, alternating with Stan Van Gundy. Crawford has received rave reviews for his upbeat and insightful analysis. His spot-on prediction added another highlight, especially given his history with the Timberwolves.
