[Saba Sports News] Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden has made the NBA Playoffs every year since entering the league—15 seasons, 15 appearances.
Now, with the Clippers sitting in the eighth spot in the Western Conference, Harden is looking to extend that streak through a potential play-in matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
But it’s not just on the court where Harden is making moves. Off the court, his partnership with Adidas continues to thrive. As Harden puts it, things are “still going up”—both in his game and in his signature sneaker line.
Since signing a massive deal with Adidas in 2015—worth more than what legends like Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson earned in their careers—Harden has released nine signature shoes, the latest being the Adidas Harden Vol. 9.
In a recent interview with Nice Kicks, Harden reflected on the growth of his sneaker line and its future.
“Just figuring out what direction we were heading towards, and actually taking it there,” Harden said. “Not really holding back, not really caring about what people think. I think the team we’ve finally created and got together did something special.”
He continued, “Players in my situation, who have signature lines, usually see things drop off as they get older. I think we’re doing the opposite—we’re still going up.”
The Vol. 9 may be his most popular release yet, arriving at a time when Adidas has been stepping up its sneaker game—especially following the addition of Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards to its roster.
Looking ahead, Harden seems poised to remain a key figure in Adidas Basketball, as he continues to build his legacy both in the league and in the sneaker world.
