[Saba Sports News] India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the second ODI of the ongoing series against Australia.
As informed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Bumrah has been given a short break and has gone to visit his family.
The fast-bowler had missed a match during the Asia Cup 2023 as well as he had come back to India for the birth of his child.
As for Australia, despite being 0-1 down, their skipper Pat Cummins has been rested for the Indore ODI. Steve Smith will lead the team in his absence.
Besides Cummins, Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis are also not in the XI. To fill in their places Josh Hazlewood and Spencer Johnson, who is making is ODI debut, have been included.
