[Saba Sports News] The Utah Jazz have signed veteran point guard and former NBA champion Patty Mills to a 1-year, $3.3 million deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Mills, entering his 16th season, reunites with Jazz head coach Will Hardy, who coached him as an assistant with the Spurs from 2015-2021.
Mills, who won a championship with San Antonio in 2014, last played for the Miami Heat after being waived by the Atlanta Hawks.
Despite his age, Mills’ 38.6% career three-point shooting and veteran leadership could be valuable assets for the young Jazz squad.
