[Saba Sports News] German football legend Oliver Kahn,
who stepped down from his position as chairman of Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich
this summer, recently participated in his inaugural TV interview. During the
interview, he was questioned about his tenure at Bayern. When asked about the
most surprising aspect of his time in office, Kahn expressed his emotions. He
stated that he did not anticipate his tenure to be so short. Kahn remarked,
“When people have a deep-rooted perception of you as a goalkeeper, it becomes
challenging. They fail to realise that you have
evolved significantly, and they still expect to see the goalkeeper Kahn.”
This implies that the club’s expectations for Kahn exceeded what was realistic.
Despite his contributions to Bayern’s transformation, Kahn consistently felt
that it was never enough.
