[Saba Sports News] Kawhi Leonard isn’t too concerned about playing without Paul George.
After five seasons with the Clippers, George signed a massive deal with the 76ers, leaving Leonard without his longtime teammate.
When asked about it at media day, Leonard confidently responded, “I don’t feel like it’s going to be harder for me personally. I don’t rely on anyone as my savior; I take on my own role and challenges each game.”
While Leonard has proven he can lead a championship team, injuries have plagued his time with the Clippers.
He missed 147 of 308 regular season games over four seasons and has Clippers fans worried again with recent knee issues before the upcoming season.
