The couple, who married in April 2022, share Indian roots. Lerisha, a talented Kathak dancer, met Keshav through mutual acquaintances, and their friendship blossomed into marriage.
Keshav’s cricket journey includes 49 Tests, 44 ODIs, and 27 T20Is since his debut against Australia in 2016. He boasts 158 Test wickets and notable performances in ODIs and T20Is. Not just a bowler, Maharaj has also impressed with the bat, securing five half-centuries in Tests.
In the recent Test against India, Maharaj didn’t bowl due to conditions favoring fast bowlers, yet his cricketing contributions remain significant.
