[Saba Sports News] Kevin Durant was impressed with Simone Biles’ performance in the women’s individual all-around event at the Summer Olympics on Thursday.
Durant and other Team USA basketball members attended the women’s all-around in Paris to support Biles and fellow U.S. gymnast Suni Lee. As expected, Biles won gold, bringing her total to six Olympic gold medals, the most for any American gymnast in history.
While watching Biles compete, Durant posted on X, praising her leaping ability, saying she could “catch a lob and finish,” and referred to her as “Goat Biles.” Biles showcased her impressive height during the floor routine of the all-around event.
This gold medal was Biles’ second in Paris, as she and her teammates also won gold in the team all-around earlier in the week. Biles even took a playful shot at a former teammate on social media after that victory.
