[Saba Sports News] The Phoenix Suns have reportedly intensified their efforts to trade Kevin Durant, with three frontrunners now emerging in the sweepstakes for the 15-time All-Star.
During a Friday appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, ESPN’s Shams Charania revealed that the Suns have engaged in trade discussions involving Durant with as many as eight teams. A deal could be finalized soon, with three teams currently leading the race.
“There’s been real momentum in trade talks,” Charania said. “The Suns have had six to eight teams express interest, submit offers, and engage in negotiations. But over the last 24 to 48 hours, their focus has narrowed to three teams: the Houston Rockets, the Miami Heat, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.”
