[Saba Sports News] Kevin Durant reflected on his experience with the 2024 Team USA “Avengers” after winning a Gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
While he couldn’t say if it was the most fun team he’s ever been a part of, he highlighted the joy of traveling the world and visiting new places like Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Durant, who averaged 13.8 points, was Team USA’s third-highest scorer behind Stephen Curry and LeBron James.
Initially sidelined by a calf injury, Durant returned as the sixth man before being promoted to the starting lineup for the Gold medal game.
He hit a clutch mid-range shot with 40 seconds left, sealing the victory and adding to his legacy as the national team’s all-time leading scorer and most decorated men’s player with four Olympic Gold medals.
