[Saba Sports News] Malaysian men’s singles player Kok Jing Hong recently updated his social media, posting a criticism of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM). He criticized the association for repeated mistakes in tournament entries, severely affecting professional players’ participation opportunities. Kok stated that he submitted his entry three days before BAM’s internal deadline, yet his name was still absent from the final list. Even after contacting the responsible person multiple times directly, he was ignored. He captioned the post: “This situation is unacceptable. All players deserve equal respect and fairness.” Kok has achieved good results on the badminton court, helping the Malaysian team win the 2022 Asian Badminton Team Championships and securing a men’s team silver medal at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games. In individual competitions, he defeated former national team player Liu Liang at the 2025 China Baoji Badminton Masters, reaching the quarter-finals, demonstrating all-around skills and clutch performance ability, injecting new vitality into Malaysian men’s singles.
