[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, ahead of their Champions League match against Atalanta, Bayern Munich created a positive atmosphere for the team with a special “Family Day”. Manager Vincent Kompany invited the players’ families to the training ground to watch the session, with activities including a barbecue and an ice cream truck also arranged. Last Sunday (local time), Kompany invited the players’ families to Säbener Straße training ground to watch the team’s afternoon training. It was a sunny day with a temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius. Many wives and children of Bayern Munich players watched from the sidelines, creating a relaxed and warm atmosphere. To host these special “guests”, the club also specially prepared food and drinks. The training ground featured not only a barbecue buffet but also an ice cream truck and juice machines.
The editor believes that Bayern Munich are clearly looking to use the “power of family” to give the team extra motivation during the crucial run-in of the season. In fact, Kompany organized a similar family day about a month ago. Ahead of their Bundesliga home game against Hoffenheim, players’ families were also invited to attend the team’s final training session before the match. At the end of February, the team held a private team dinner at the high-end restaurant “Gut Kaltenbrunn” in Gmund am Tegernsee, where players’ partners and children were also invited.
