[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media, the La Liga Alliance, under the leadership of President Javier Tebas, continues its crackdown on piracy and illegal IP content distribution. Last week, they announced the blocking of multiple IP addresses on the Cloudflare platform. Cloudflare is a U.S. company that provides content delivery networks, internet security services, and distributed domain name server services. The La Liga Alliance stated, “These blocks are implemented in response to our request to combat illegal access to our content. Cloudflare deliberately protects criminal organizations for profit, facilitating illegal access to our content. Through these actions, Cloudflare is collaborating with activities such as trafficking, prostitution, pornography, counterfeit goods marketing, fraud, and scams. In fact, La Liga requested two IP addresses protected by Cloudflare that can access child pornography content; we have documented this and will include it in a police report.” The La Liga Alliance claims to have evidence that these IP addresses are used for distributing illegal content while coexisting with legitimate content, and that legitimate companies affected by these blocks are also victims, as “they are consciously used by Cloudflare as a digital shield.”
