[Saba Sports News] In the 2025 season, New Zealand driver Liam Lawson will officially join the Red Bull F1 Team, becoming teammates with four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen. In an interview with the Red Bull team’s official website, Lawson shared his feelings about driving a Red Bull car for the first time. Lawson stated that if you’ve played “Call of Duty” or similar shooting games and set the mouse sensitivity to the maximum, that’s what driving a Red Bull car feels like. If you choose low sensitivity, you can control your mouse well; everything is not too intense, very stable and smooth. However, high sensitivity is completely the opposite; when you try to aim at an enemy, your cursor flies all over the screen, and you need to be very precise to accomplish the task. This feeling is just like driving a Red Bull car, which is very aggressive. Lawson believes that drivers want a car that suits their preferences; for example, some drivers like cars with strong front grip and quick cornering speeds, while others prefer very stable cars. There is nothing wrong with that. However, as a driver for the Red Bull team, one must learn to handle any type of car and extract its best performance. Having such adaptability is essential to becoming a world champion’s teammate.
