[Saba Sports News] According to MotorSport, Red Bull F1 reserve driver Liam Lawson recently gave an interview about his experience since leaving the main Red Bull team. He said, “Everyone has their own opinions and ideas, which is fine. But I know how I feel. Honestly, except for the car setup, there hasn’t been much of a difference. Since Austria, I’ve felt more comfortable. The speed of the car has always been there, but in the first half of the season, there was a lack of consistency.” As the driver who replaced Lawson at Red Bull, Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda has recently performed poorly, causing some reconsideration of Lawson’s potential return. Since the Monaco Grand Prix this year, Tsunoda has not earned any points and has only finished in the top ten twice. In qualifying, Lawson has outperformed Tsunoda: he reached Q3 four times, while Tsunoda reached Q3 just twice. When asked if he planned to return to Red Bull, Lawson replied, “This is a busy season, and I haven’t even considered it. I just want to focus on driving well. We have achieved some results, but getting three good results out of 12 races isn’t enough. I think more should be done.”
