[Saba Sports News] EA Sports released Madden NFL 25 on August 13, and the reviews have been predictably mixed. Fans have voiced their concerns on social media, and now, avid Madden player LeBron James has joined in with his own complaints. James took to X to highlight some changes to the online head-to-head mode that he’s not happy with.
“EA Madden NFL, talk to me! Help me understand the changes to Online H2H. It takes some of the fun away,” he wrote. “Seeing who you beat or lose to after the game (record-wise), knowing your record, and seeing what team your opponent is playing with before the game starts. Asking for the people.”
James’ comments reflect widespread frustrations among fans, who feel these changes diminish the experience. Despite these criticisms, LeBron made it clear that he still enjoys the game. Interestingly, while the Madden NFL 25 account on X did not address his complaints, they did repost his message expressing love for the game, which suggests we might not see any changes soon.
