[Saba Sports News] LeBron James is reaching out to his longtime co-star as their six-season run together officially comes to an end.
The Los Angeles Lakers star took to Instagram on Sunday to react to the shocking blockbuster trade that sent Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic.
James shared a photo of himself embracing Davis, captioned, “Love you my dog!! Go crazy over there! Woe 4L! See you soon,” along with a teardrop emoji.
James and Davis had been teammates since 2019, forming a dynamic duo that led the Lakers to an NBA title in 2020. Despite their strong chemistry, the team was never able to capture a second championship, largely due to struggles in building a solid supporting cast around them.
Still, James and Davis remain close, both on and off the court, as fellow Klutch Sports clients. James also took time on Saturday night to shut down a false report about his relationship with Davis.
