[Saba Sports News] LeBron James has never been shy about celebrating his own accomplishments — and his latest milestone was no exception.
On Friday, the NBA revealed this season’s All-NBA teams, with James earning a spot on the Second Team. It marked the 21st All-NBA selection of the 40-year-old Lakers star’s career, extending his all-time record.
James took to X (formerly Twitter) that evening to reflect on the historic achievement.
“ALL NBA at 40!!” he posted. “Low key crazy to me right now! Sitting here watching the playoffs just thinking about it. Blessed beyond I can even imagine.”
James averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists across 70 games this season, showing no signs of slowing down. He has now earned All-NBA honors in every season since his second year in the league (2004-05), and is the only player ever to make an All-NBA team at age 40 or older.
His 21 career selections easily top the record books, outpacing legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan — each of whom finished with 15.
The four-time NBA champion has never been one to downplay his legacy, and his latest post continues a familiar trend of James acknowledging — and embracing — his place in history.
