[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, German authorities have denied Leeds United fans entry to Germany for watching pre-season matches for the second consecutive year, citing tight security resources. Subsequently, Leeds United released a statement: “This outcome has deeply disappointed all of us, and we are sure it will disappoint and anger you, our loyal supporters. We sincerely apologize to you for this result.” Although fans can still watch other scheduled pre-season matches, including against Manchester United in Stockholm next month and AC Milan in Dublin, and Villarreal will visit Elland Road on August 2nd, the plan to watch the game in Germany has not been finalized. In response, the Leeds United fan organization said in a statement: “For the second consecutive season, Leeds United fans have been banned from watching friendly matches in Germany, and the authorities have given no reasonable explanation. This is truly disappointing, especially since last year’s excuse was the allocation of police forces after the Euro Cup, but other English clubs were still allowed to have fans in Germany. Authorities should provide a valid reason to explain why Leeds fans have been unfairly excluded again.”
