[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded Premier League match, Leicester City lost 0-3 at home to Manchester United. So far, Leicester’s performance has been quite disappointing, having suffered seven consecutive home defeats without scoring a single goal. Additionally, they have set a new disgraceful record in the Premier League. In the club’s history of 679 Premier League matches, Leicester has conceded 1,001 goals, making them the team with the fewest matches to reach 1,001 goals conceded in Premier League history. This is the first time such a situation has occurred in the Premier League. As a former Premier League champion, facing such a predicament indicates clear internal issues within the team. They have not lacked significant signings, but rather face numerous problems internally, such as tactical arrangements by the coach, player conditions, and the lack of synergy and cooperation among players. These factors combined have led to Leicester’s poor home performance, setting the worst record in Premier League history. It seems that Leicester’s head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, may have tactical arrangements that do not suit the team’s actual situation. He emphasizes possession and attacking play too much, even against strong opponents, which has left the team’s defense full of holes, allowing opponents to easily capitalize on opportunities.
