[Saba Sports News] With just a month left before the start of the new Ligue 1 season, the league has not yet finalized its broadcaster plan, according to French media reports. The French Football League and clubs held an emergency meeting to discuss various options. However, no final decision has been made on the TV broadcast rights plan. While some clubs support the idea of launching an exclusive TV channel for Ligue 1, possibly through Warner, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has voiced his opposition. Another offer from broadcaster DAZN is also being considered. They have proposed to broadcast 8 out of 9 games per round for 375 million euros per year. However, no agreement has been reached yet. BeIN Sports, the current broadcaster, is under pressure to provide a substantial offer to save Ligue 1 and the clubs, but it is unlikely they will meet expectations.
