[Saba Sports News] According to independent data released by Nielsen, Liverpool has been the most-watched team in the Premier League for the 2024-25 season so far. From August to October 2024, Liverpool amassed a total TV viewership of 133.8 million across the first nine Premier League matches, surpassing any other club in the league and topping the viewership charts in Central and South America, Europe, and the MENA regions. This increase in broadcast viewership continues last season’s trend, where Liverpool was the most-watched Premier League team globally, with a cumulative audience of 471 million for all 38 league matches. Meanwhile, recent data from Blinkfire shows that Liverpool’s global social media followers on its men’s and women’s channels have exceeded 200 million. Last season, Liverpool was the most engaged Premier League club, with over 1.5 billion fan interactions, and had the most-watched social media content, with a total of 11.9 billion views. The club’s video platform subscribers have also reached 10 million, making it the first Premier League club to hit this milestone.
