[Saba Sports News] Lonzo Ball, who has been sidelined from NBA play for over two years due to recurring knee issues, is making strides in his recovery. Chris Jones, a mental fitness coach, recently posted a video on Instagram showing Ball successfully dunking the ball.
Although it’s not a contest-winning dunk, the fact that Ball can elevate enough to dunk is a sign of progress. Ball’s knee troubles began with a torn meniscus in 2022, followed by a cartilage transplant in 2023.
These issues forced him to miss the entire season due to ongoing discomfort, and there were even rumors about the severity of his condition, including difficulties in simple actions like standing from a seated position.
For the 26-year-old Ball, any positive development is welcome news amid a challenging recovery.
