[Saba Sports News] Just four games into the season, Lonzo Ball has already found himself back on the injury list.
The Chicago Bulls announced on Tuesday that Ball sprained his right wrist during the first quarter of Monday’s 126-123 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The injury will sideline him for at least 10 days, impacting the Bulls’ lineup as they continue their early-season stretch.
While the injury is disappointing, it’s a relief for the team and fans that it isn’t related to Ball’s knee, which has been an ongoing issue over the last two years, causing him to miss significant time and disrupting his consistency on the court.
In his limited time during Monday’s game, Ball made a positive impact, going 2-for-4 from beyond the arc and dishing out six assists over his 18 minutes on the floor.
The guard has been easing back into rhythm this season, averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists over the first three games. With the Bulls facing five games in the next 10 days, Ball’s absence could be felt as they look to build momentum.
However, there is hope he’ll be ready to return once his wrist heals, continuing his steady contributions as he works toward full health.
