[Saba Sports News] Malaysian badminton star Nur Izzuddin Rumsani recently announced on social media that he has become a father following his men’s doubles victory at the China Open Badminton Championships. The news drew significant attention from fans. Photos showed Izzuddin holding his newborn baby with his wife beside him, both smiling happily. Fans congratulated them warmly on adding another “badminton dad” to their ranks. Izzuddin will turn 27 in two months and has been partnering with Goh Szefei since 2016 in men’s doubles events; they won their first championship at the Swiss International Badminton Championships in their debut year together but faced performance stagnation afterwards. This led to their split at the beginning of 2023 due to disagreements between them when they were ranked tenth globally. Unfortunately, after parting ways neither achieved notable success independently which led them to reunite within half a year.
