[Saba Sports News] According to French media reports, a man has been arrested on suspicion of selling fake match tickets for Paris Saint‑Germain, with nearly 2,000 people believed to have been targeted. Tickets for PSG matches are always in high demand, which has created opportunities for fraudsters. In March this year, France’s cybercrime unit arrested a 22‑year‑old man in the Oise department while investigating a case involving the sale of fake PSG match tickets. Referred to in media reports as Ainis D, the man faces charges including “alleged fraud, forgery, fraudulent falsification of facts in written documents, use of forged documents, and money laundering from proceeds of fraud.” He operated multiple accounts on social media and set up a so‑called resale system for PSG tickets, covering both home and away matches. His scam involving the sale of fake tickets began in August 2024. His social media accounts amassed more than 13,000 followers, and around 2,000 people were defrauded or targeted in attempted fraud.

Paris Saint‑Germain filed a police report on January 28 this year stating that numerous fake match tickets had emerged, after which the police launched an investigation and arrested the suspect.
