[Saba Sports News] Enzo Maresca has been appointed as the new team coach for Chelsea, and fitness coach Marcos Alvarez has also joined his coaching team. Alvarez, known for his strict diet control, has previously worked at Sevilla, Tottenham, Parma, and Leicester City. During his time at Tottenham, Alvarez famously banned sauces, juices, cakes, and peppers. He even removed omelettes from Leicester City’s breakfast menu. It is reported that Alvarez successfully helped Tottenham players lose a total of 100 kilograms, indicating that Chelsea may monitor the players’ weight closely this summer. Despite his strict demands, Alvarez remains popular among Spurs players, who have benefited from his rigorous requirements. Maresca’s new diet plan for Chelsea may involve cutting out certain foods from players’ existing diets, but it appears to be based on common sense.
