[Saba Sports News] Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban created a buzz on Thursday when he made a noteworthy request to music sensation Taylor Swift while appearing on ESPN’s ‘First Take.’ The discussion revolved around Swift’s rumored relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, prompting Cuban to propose an intriguing idea to Swift.
Addressing Swift directly, Cuban humorously said, “I’m going to tell you, Taylor, if you’re listening, sorry to Travis. Break up with him. I have a group of attractive single Dallas Mavericks players. I’ve got you covered.”
Despite Cuban’s playful efforts, it might be a challenging proposition to sway Swift. Firstly, both of the Mavericks’ superstar players are already taken – Kyrie Irving is married with children, and Luka Doncic recently got engaged during the summer. Moreover, it’s a question whether anyone on the Mavericks’ roster can claim to be on par with Swift.
Cuban’s remarks prompted a humorous response from Kelce himself, who tweeted at Cuban, saying, “Just sign me to a ten-day [contract]!”
Nevertheless, Cuban’s intention to support his players is evident, and it’s not the most outlandish idea the billionaire owner has entertained over the years.
