[Saba Sports News] According to reports from Spanish
media, members of the Spanish women’s football team, who had previously
expressed dissatisfaction with policy adjustments made by the Spanish Football
Association, have recently heeded the coach’s call to return to the national
team for preparations ahead of the Women’s UEFA Nations League. It is stated
that the players did not return willingly, but rather under duress, as they
feared potential legal repercussions from the Spanish Football Federation. Despite
being compelled to re-join the team, the players remain resolute in their
stance. They have promptly issued a statement asserting that the Spanish
Football Association lacks respect for their status as the newly crowned
women’s football world champions.
