powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake. The devastating event has tragically claimed
the lives of over 2,000 individuals and left several cities in ruins, capturing
global attention. In light of this, Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has taken
to social media to share an update. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to
the families of all the earthquake victims and conveyed his full support to
those injured and affected by this terrible disaster. To contribute to relief
efforts, the Messi Charitable Foundation will extend assistance to the victims
of the earthquake in Morocco. In response, King Mohammed VI of Morocco chaired
a meeting to coordinate post-earthquake relief operations. The meeting also
decided to observe a three-day period of mourning across Morocco, with flags
flying at half-mast in all public buildings.
