[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media, fan groups of both Milan clubs are protesting against their managements. Due to long-standing violations by certain fan groups, the managements of Inter Milan and AC Milan have decided to restrict entry for some fans and ban certain banners. In an unprecedented move, fan groups of both clubs are protesting against their respective managements by remaining silent throughout matches and even refusing to watch the games. AC Milan’s fan group, Curva Sud, maintained complete silence for the full 90 minutes during the match against Cremonese. In a statement on social media, they said: “Almost all old banners have been banned, and there is a blacklist preventing fans from buying tickets in the second tier. The management claims ‘public order’ reasons for banning us from purchasing season tickets in that area, but if we manage to snatch the few tickets available for that section for each match, the so-called ‘public order issues’ suddenly disappear. It’s absurd!” Inter Milan’s fan group, Curva Nord, went a step further by boycotting the match against Torino. They stated on social media: “Aside from the unreasonable continuous rise in ticket prices, we are also facing a so-called ‘blacklist.’ Dozens of young fans in our group have been banned from renewing season tickets without any valid reason, and most of them don’t even have criminal records or legal issues.”
