[Saba Sports News] According to recent reports from foreign media, in preparation for the 2030 World Cup, one of the host countries, Morocco, has begun plans for stadium construction. They plan to build an iconic stadium in northern Casablanca that can accommodate 115,000 people. This stadium will primarily be used for football matches and will become the home ground for the Moroccan national football team. The construction cost is expected to reach nearly $500 million, with completion planned for 2028. Once built, it will not only host World Cup matches but also serve the local clubs regularly. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the design of the stadium incorporates rich Moroccan cultural elements. The tent-like roof design is inspired by traditional Moroccan Moussem tents, showcasing Morocco’s unique architectural style and reflecting respect and inheritance of traditional culture. The exterior and interior decorations of the stadium may utilize traditional Moroccan patterns, colors, and craftsmanship to highlight the country’s cultural characteristics.
