[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho may face suspension again due to comments made during an interview with Sky Sports last week. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Mourinho discussed his initial four-match suspension, which was reduced to two matches following the Istanbul derby. Mourinho stated that the ban was lessened after he saw the chairman of the Turkish Football Discipline Committee celebrating in a Galatasaray jersey on social media. Mourinho remarked, “On the day I was banned for four matches, the chairman of the Discipline Committee was celebrating in a Galatasaray jersey with friends; this came to public attention. Only here can you understand its dimension.” The Turkish Football Federation may punish Mourinho for “comments that harm the reputation of Turkish football,” which could include a ban and fines. Additionally, Mourinho expressed, “It’s possible that even those who don’t like me support me. I am grateful to those who have no issues with me, especially my kids and my former players. They are very important voices.”
