[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Nicolo Fagioli has accumulated gambling debts of over 500,000 euros, and several former teammates have contributed money to help him pay off these debts. Reports indicate that Fagioli owes a total of 587,000 euros in gambling debts, and some former teammates, including Federico Gatti and Radu Dragusin, have contributed money to help him settle these debts without being investigated by Italian authorities. It is known that a total of 31 people have helped Fagioli pay off part of his debt. From December 2021 to October 2023, these 30 or so people have helped Fagioli repay his debts in multiple installments of no less than 3,500 euros each. Among them, Francisco Luciani contributed the most with 73,000 euros, followed by Caleb Okoli, Radu Dragusin, and Federico Gatti, who together paid 121,000 euros. Additionally, Fagioli’s agent paid about 30,000 euros, Di Massimo contributed 29,000 euros, and Salami paid 28,000 euros. However, they were not involved in illegal betting and therefore were not investigated. It appears that Fagioli really needs to thank this group of brothers who have lent a helping hand.
