[Saba Sports News] Trade chatter continues to swirl around Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis, but a new report indicates there’s little substance behind the speculation.
Sabonis was recently linked to the Toronto Raptors, but Brett Siegel reports that the Kings have shown no interest in moving him.
Siegel described the rumors as “blown out of proportion,” adding that Sacramento remains focused on building around its current core.
While Sabonis is reportedly seeking more clarity on the team’s long-term direction, he is not requesting a trade, and the Kings are not actively shopping him.
The 29-year-old big man remains a highly valuable asset. He averaged 19.1 points and 13.9 rebounds this past season and is under contract through 2028. Though his future may hinge on how the Kings perform next season, it would be a surprise to see him moved this summer.
