Jokic had a rollercoaster week. After Serbia’s controversial semifinal loss to Team USA in the Olympics—where both the Serbian coach and Bogdan Bogdanovic criticized the officiating—Jokic and the team bounced back to win the bronze medal against Germany. Jokic made history by recording a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, becoming only the fourth player in Olympic history to achieve this feat.
Upon returning to Serbia, the national team received a hero’s welcome, with fans chanting “MVP” for Jokic. He was clearly enjoying the moment.
But Jokic didn’t take long to return to his passion—horseracing. Just a day after the parade, he was spotted at a horse race in Serbia, relaxing with a drink while watching the event.
Seeing Jokic dancing with a crowd is a rare sight, especially considering his father recently mentioned that Nikola is introverted and doesn’t like making new friends. But it seems he was just in the mood to have a good time, and he certainly looked like he was enjoying himself.
