[Saba Sports News] Nikola Jokic is definitely in a generous mood this summer.
According to EuroHoops, the Denver Nuggets star treated his Serbia teammates to some lavish gifts after their bronze medal win at the Paris Olympics. Jokic reportedly bought Rolex watches worth $32,500 each for all 11 of his teammates, totaling $357,500.
Serbia secured just their third Olympic medal in men’s basketball by defeating Germany 93-83 in the third-place game this summer. Jokic was clearly enjoying the victory, even going viral for his celebratory antics.
As a three-time NBA MVP entering the second year of a five-year, $276 million supermax contract, $357,500 is a small price for Jokic. But it’s still great to see him taking care of his Serbian teammates, including one who might join him in Denver.
