[Saba Sports News] Nikola Jokic continues to redefine what’s possible on a basketball court.
The Denver Nuggets superstar added another mind-blowing moment to his season-long highlight reel during Friday’s game against the Utah Jazz at Ball Arena. With just seconds left in the first half and Denver leading 54-45, the Jazz looked poised to head into the break with momentum after a quick Collin Sexton layup.
Then Jokic happened.
With four seconds on the clock, Jokic took the inbounds pass, shuffled right to avoid a defender, and launched a one-handed shot from way beyond halfcourt. Somehow, it dropped—nothing but net. Officially, the shot was listed at 62 feet, but the style points made it feel even more ridiculous.
It wasn’t just a buzzer-beater—it was a physics-defying, momentum-swinging, viral moment.
Jokic finished the night with 26 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals in a dominant 129-93 win. While that line would be a career night for most players, it was actually below Jokic’s season averages of 29.3 points, 12.8 boards, and 10.3 dimes per game heading into Friday.
Still, stats aside, it was that impossible shot that had the internet buzzing—and once again proved there’s simply no one else like The Joker.
