[Saba Sports News] Nikola Jokic once again showcased his basketball wizardry against the New York Knicks, pulling off an incredible play during the Denver Nuggets’ 113-100 victory.
In the second quarter, with the Nuggets trailing 48-42, Jokic found himself just outside the paint. Despite a defender obstructing the passing lane to teammate Aaron Gordon under the basket, Jokic cleverly dribbled once to draw defender Josh Hart towards him, creating an opening for the pass to Gordon. What made the play even more remarkable was Jokic’s no-look pass over his head to Gordon for an easy layup.
The entire sequence was nothing short of extraordinary. Jokic’s awareness, Gordon’s anticipation, and the flawless execution culminated in a sublime moment.
This play serves as a testament to Jokic’s greatness and why he’s a two-time NBA MVP. It’s a prime example of his exceptional skills and basketball IQ.
