[Saba Sports News] Dutch driver Max Verstappen has won the F1 World Championship for four consecutive years, and next season, he will aim for a fifth consecutive title. As the new season approaches, can anyone stop Verstappen from winning again? Recently, British media analyzed that among contemporary drivers, no one has the potential to challenge Verstappen. They believe that the overall level of modern F1 drivers is high, with very similar driving skills, making steadfastness a valuable quality for an elite athlete. In 2024, Verstappen will face different pressures as the RB20 car quickly loses competitiveness after the departure of chief designer Adrian Newey and many technical talents. Verstappen’s father has warned that the stability of the Red Bull team, once a great advantage, is now “collapsing.” Fortunately, Verstappen’s strong overall qualities prevented such a collapse. For a significant time, he almost single-handedly turned the situation around. While drivers like Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, George Russell, Oscar Piastri, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli possess incredible talent, they cannot match Verstappen’s ability to withstand pressure. Verstappen is unlikely to be defeated by his contemporaries; in other words, he is the closest thing to an invincible driver in F1 history.
