[Saba Sports News] Previously, Lando Norris stated in an interview that he only focuses on scoring more points. Norris said: “The points gap isn’t important, I just need to score as many points as I can every race weekend. The more points you score, the more favorable the situation becomes. Nothing has changed, and we don’t need to do anything extra to fight for the championship. It’s simple: just try to beat both drivers, then life becomes easy! I don’t think the situation will change much. The gap between us and Red Bull is small – one weekend they are faster, the next weekend we are faster.” From Norris’s words, it’s not hard to see that he still desires to win the ultimate F1 Drivers’ Championship. Having ambition is good, but the problem is, you need sufficient ability to realize that ambition. Wishful thinking without the requisite capability to deliver will inevitably result in overestimating one’s own strength and attempting the impossible. Verstappen’s current race form is clearly difficult to withstand, let alone for a driver of Norris’s level. As long as Verstappen can win the race in five consecutive Grands Prix, even if Norris finishes second in all of them, Verstappen will still win the World Championship.
