[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Nottingham Forest has filed a complaint with UEFA regarding the refereeing standards in their 2-3 home defeat to Midtjylland in the Europa League. This result has cast significant uncertainty over the future of Nottingham Forest’s new manager, Ange Postecoglou, who is still seeking his first win after just six games in charge. It is reported that Nottingham Forest was dissatisfied with the way referee Willy Delajod managed the match. Despite Midtjylland’s rough style of play, Willy Delajod only showed a yellow card to their wing-back Kevin Mbabu, while cautioning three Nottingham Forest players: Rodrigues Da Silva, Igor Jesus, and Morgan Gibbs-White. Nottingham Forest was also frustrated by the stop-start nature of the refereeing, which they felt hindered the team from building momentum. In particular, a notably rough foul by Denil Castillo on Elliot Anderson only resulted in a warning.
