[Saba Sports News] Barcelona is set to return to the Nou Camp stadium for the Gegenbauro Cup on August 10. According to Spanish media, the Nou Camp is still not fully completed, with parking areas, elevators, and escalators temporarily unavailable. Although the exact number of spectators has not yet been determined, the club’s management hopes for at least 60,000 fans to attend. Initially, it was rumored that only 25,000 fans would be allowed in. The final number of spectators will depend on the progress of the construction. If certain areas are not yet finished, the city government may limit access to some parts of the stadium. Regardless, the target of 60,000 fans is more of an ideal goal, and the actual number will depend on the situation. Barcelona said, “We clearly know we can’t hold a match during the construction, but it’s time to come back. The experience this year may not be very comfortable, and some facilities might still be incomplete, and parking won’t be open. But we’ve finally returned home. We’re realizing a collective dream.” Barcelona’s management admitted that returning to the Nou Camp during the Gegenbauro Cup will still bring some inconvenience, as there will be no parking, elevators and escalators will not work, and the catering area will only serve cold food, with some restrooms still unfinished.
