[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, off-field issues and injury problems have been affecting Kyle Walker this season. After months of turmoil, Manchester City finds itself in disarray. Following a loss to Juventus, Walker faced online bullying, which he deemed unacceptable. No one can determine what exactly has impacted Walker’s performance on the field. His highest sprint speed this season is 21.9 miles per hour, on par with his data from 2021, but 2 miles per hour lower than the record set during the treble-winning season. Additionally, Walker’s average sprints per match have decreased to 18.9, though the decline is not significant. He is also getting dribbled past by opponents 0.9 times per match, the same as in 2023. The only noticeable decline is in his interceptions per 90 minutes, which is at 0.3, while the average is usually around 0.8. Furthermore, ongoing injury problems and family issues are affecting Walker’s form, illustrating the challenges he is facing this season. With all this, it’s no surprise that his focus is not fully on football. He has not shown the level of performance expected from a captain, which may also influence the performances of other players.
