Palhinha’s wife, Patricia, revealed in an interview last year that their relationship was tense, stating that Palhinha could only be present during the birth of their child and left shortly after. Portuguese media indicated that Palhinha and Patricia learned this summer that they were expecting their second child, but the couple has recently filed for divorce because Palhinha fell in love with another woman. It is reported that they met at Bayern Munich, where the woman also works. Ultimately, Palhinha abandoned his pregnant wife. However, sources close to the player accused Patricia of being extravagant, often sending Palhinha bills of €100,000. Both parties continue to hold their positions, but Patricia is pregnant with Palhinha’s second child and has moved back to Braga. The first divorce hearing is expected to take place later this year.
