[Saba Sports News] Patrick Beverley has checked in amid the recent events in Israel. The former NBA guard, now playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv, shared an update on his safety via X, assuring fans he was unharmed following Iran’s missile attacks on Israel.
“Thanks for reaching out. I’m safe. Peace and Love,” Beverley wrote.
On Tuesday, around 200 ballistic missiles were fired at targets in Israel, mainly near Tel Aviv. While many were intercepted, some reached their targets. Iran claims the attack was in retaliation for recent Israeli actions.
Beverley, 36, left the NBA this offseason for a lucrative deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv and is now experiencing some of the conflict firsthand.
